Trip Description: Hok-Si-La is a 252 acre, municipally owned and operated park located on the Minnesota side of Lake Pepin. The park offers spectacular views of the Mississippi River, Lake Pepin, and the surrounding bluffs. We will take the day to explore the mile long stretch of Mississippi River shoreline and do some rock picking. The park allows agate collecting. Late April will be a good time to see what hidden treasures the ice may have uncovered over the winter. For more info on Hok-Si-La Park: http://www.hoksilapark.org/home.html
